First Aid provision comes under health and safety legislation. The ultimate responsibility for health and safety lies with the employer involved and the organisations in control of premises and facilities.
We are specialists in the provision of qualified & experienced professional medical staff & equipment to the Film & TV production industry. Since 1984 we have provided medical service to over 700 feature films, TV productions and commercials.

Medics provide first aid cover and primary healthcare to the cast and crew on production units.  This includes ensuring that people are looking after their own health, and dealing with first aid incidents and general healthcare. Only one medic may be required on some general filming, and more specifically on low risk stunt and action scenes.  For higher risk stunts, or where filming takes place at some distance from a hospital, two or more crew may be required with fully equipped support units, including comprehensive trauma and resuscitation equipment.

Experienced staff will act in a professional manner on set, yet will be happy to be one of the team when needed. Our medics have excellent communication skills, enabling them to deal effectively and tactfully with all members of crews, with artistes and with the public.  They have the confidence to introduce themselves to specific film personnel in order to understand the requirements of the production, e.g., to liaise directly with a Stunt Team or Special Effects Department.

Our medical teams are extremely qualified and very experienced. Everyone is DBS checked regularly, and hold the Safe Guarding & Protecting Children qualifications. Most of the team hold water rescue, rescue at height and remote casualty handling, plus some are also local authority registered chaperones for added benefit.
